2023 CHARITY PARTNER ANNOUNCED AS SHEFFIELD CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

We are delighted to confirm that during 2023, Carlton Forest Group will be supporting The Sheffield’s Children Hospital Charity (TCHC) who help to raise funds to support and enhance the services of Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

Chosen by our team members from four proposed charities, TCHC charity was the clear winner.

An amazing and humbling place it offers state-of-the art facilities and a worldwide reputation for the most amazing treatment. With over 213,000 outpatients attending in 2022, almost 11,000 inpatients and over 60,000 patients treated at Accident and Emergency, it’s evident why fundraising plays such a part in this massive operation to take care of our young people.

Diane Ward, Partner and Deputy CEO, Carlton Forest Group commented; “It’s really important to us that we support a charity each year, and that our team members choose who they would like to see us working with.

“This fantastic Children’s charity, helps young people from across the UK and we are very much looking forward to being involved, either in the events they create, or through individual and team events that we can host during the year.”

The money raised through donations buys life-saving equipment, funds vital research and treatment for thousands of children from across the country and indeed the world, and helps the charity create a comfortable, engaging environment for patients and their families.

The hospital is unique in that it is the only NHS children’s organisation providing such a broad range of services, from the most intensive emergency care through to support for families in the community and at home – supporting both the mental health and physical health of children and young people.

Sheffield Children’s is now just one of three specialist children’s hospitals in the UK, alongside Great Ormond Street and Alder Hey in Liverpool.

Tchad Western from TCHC commented; “The support of our charity partners is vitally important to our work here and we are truly grateful for every penny that everyone raises no matter how big or small it is.

“Our thanks to the team at Carlton Forest Group and we can’t wait to have you on board and getting involved.”
