FEMALE TEAM MEMBERS ‘ADDING’ TO BUSINESS SUCCESS!
On International Women’s Day (and in the midst of National Careers Week) two of our female team members are ‘adding’ to the success of the business!
Laura Dubnewytsch and Sophia Tracey have been promoted to Finance Business Partners for our 3PL and IRR divisions respectively, as the business continues to deliver its five-year growth plan.
Laura has been with the business for 6 years and has been an intrinsic part of its success in that time. With an in-depth knowledge of the business, Laura will spearhead the financial side of the Renewables Division. With a dance degree, masters and AAT qualifications Laura has a diverse skill set to tackle the challenges a role in business poses.
Sophia joined the business in summer 2021 and is AAT qualified and studying for her Chartered Accountant qualifications in addition to having a HND in Mechanical Engineering and an NVQ in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She will lead the 3PL division in its continued growth and investment as it delivers its plans to move into other UK locations.
Laura commented; “Carlton Forest is a great place to work, and Sophia and I are part of a very supportive team. Our senior team actively champion women to succeed in their work roles whether that is through day-to-day support, training provision, internal promotions or helping them, and our male colleagues to achieve a work life balance. I’m very much looking forward to the new challenge and to working closely with the Renewables Team.”
Both will maximise the potential of each division of the business and will work closely with the senior leadership team to offer support and insight into day-to-day operations.
“This is a great opportunity for me, and I’m delighted to be able to support the 3PL team as it continues to grow and diversify,” said Sophia. “This will also involve investment in our systems, our people and our infrastructure to drive forward the plans; a real team effort to deliver the success we all strive for.”
Graham White, Group Communications Director commented; “Laura and Sophia are dynamic team members who will play a significant part in the business over the next few years and we warmly congratulate them on their well-deserved promotions.
“They are superb role models for females who wish to work in professions and industry, and I hope they provide inspiration to those just starting out showing that the opportunities are there for the taking.”
Away from the office Laura is the proud owner of a uniquely coloured Cocker spaniel called Dibbley who keeps her very busy as she manages his Instagram account!
Sophia is mum to two children, and dog mum to Cookie the Apricot Cockerpoo who isn’t on social media – yet!
