In our everyday lives, there continues to be an increased focus on how we can improve our mental health and wellbeing.

As a result, we have introduced a number of health and wellbeing actions to support and benefit our colleagues.

Our Employee Assistance Programme will provide everyone with:

  • access to a free telephone counselling, legal advice and information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This will cover a wide range of issues including stress, family difficulties, money management, relationships, substance misuse, anxiety, bereavement and depression.

  • up to six sessions of counselling, either by telephone, online or face to face.

  • Health e-hub online portal, giving access to online resources to help overcome life’s mental and financial wellbeing challenges. This will include videos, guides, webinars, factsheets, self-help programmes, interactive tools and educational resources.

Introducing Mental Health First Aiders to the business:

We realise that mental ill health can affect people at any time, including during work time.

To recognise and support employees, we are appointing Mental Health First Aiders across all our sites and functions who will have knowledge to help identify those who require mental health support and the confidence to offer assistance when required.

Wellbeing Awareness:

We are increasing our efforts in raising awareness to help people manage and improve their overall health and wellbeing. This includes supporting national health and awareness campaigns, and providing support and information for people to live a healthy lifestyle.
