Just a little effort on our part

We’ve been working hard over the last couple of weeks to support the call for urgent supplies for Ukrainian refugees in Poland and are pleased to have been able to arrange our first shipment.

Liaising with Doncaster Chamber and the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain we have arrange for 750 boxes of essential goods for women and children to be donated. Things such as nappies, formula milk, over the counter medicines, first aid kits and toiletries are included in the donation which will be making its way through Europe to Poland.

Graham White, Group Intelligence and Communications Director commented; “We were initially informed of this local aid project by one of our team members, Julian Fedak, who is of Ukrainian heritage and still has family in the country, and whose brother is closely linked with the Association of Ukrainians local branch.

“We didn’t hesitate to see if we could make something happen and by liaising with those co-ordinating the relief effort it became clear that we could donate the goods and co-ordinated onward transportation to Poland via one of the established partners.

“We really feel that it’s important for businesses like ours to get behind this project. We have the opportunity to make a difference to the people of the Ukraine and offer them our support in the only way we can.”
