Our Deputy CEO shortlisted at further industry awards

We are delighted to announce that Diane Ward, our Deputy CEO has been shortlisted in the Diversity Champion category at the prestigious Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) awards.

The news comes hot on the heels of another recent award win which saw Diane be named as Industry Champion at the Everywoman Transport and Logistics awards.

“This is a great accolade for the business, and for Di, and reflects the hard work and commitment she has shown to the industry throughout her career,” said Mark Pepper, CEO, Carlton Forest Group. “All the team are thrilled for her and wish her every success at the awards ceremony in September.”

During her career Diane has been a champion in supporting women in the industry to develop their careers and to ensure opportunities were afforded to all employees, based on merit and performance. Indeed, Diane was one of the first managers to implement a job share scheme and flexible working for a well-known high street retailer in 1980’s.

Diane will be attending the awards which will take place at The Londoner Hotel, Leicester Square, London on 28th September.
