PROPERTY DIRECTOR JOINS THE CARLTON FOREST FAMILY

As the business continues to develop and diversify, an appointment has been made to take care of our greatest asset, property.

With four sites in the region, and a clear growth strategy to acquire more both locally and nationally, the board has appointed Paul Scanlon, 48, from Lancashire as Group Property Director.

Paul will oversee all current property assets to ensure high standards are maintained in line with our accreditations and will support new site identification as our 3PL division continues rapid and strategic growth.

With a degree in Civil Engineering from Warwick University and professional qualifications including Associate APM and ICIOB, Paul has spent 27 years working in property, development and construction both in private practice, in his own consultancy, and for large blue-chip clients as in house property consultant.

Paul commented; “It was very clear, from the moment that I met the people at Carlton Forest, that there was an infectious air of ambition and desire to drive the company forward and grow.

“Being part of a forward moving and thinking group of people provides the right environment and culture to realise your own ambitions and continue doing something that I love to do. The thought of being able to add to and help grow the company at this stage was a great opportunity, one that I didn’t want to miss!”

Mark Pepper, CEO, commented; “It’s great to have Paul on board and take care of this element of our business which is key to our ongoing success. We warmly welcome him and wish him every success in his new role.”

Away from the office, Paul is an avid rugby league fan and can be found supporting Wigan Warriors whenever he can. He also tells us that he lives on the better side of the Pennines (!?) and likes to enjoy the rolling hills of his home country – when it’s not too rainy or foggy!
