SUPPORTING WORLD BOOK DAY

Two members of our team, Matt Bower and Laura Dubnewytsch, made a visit to a local primary school to make a donation on World Book Day.

Children at Maltby Redwood Academy, close to our Hellaby site, showcased some amazing outfits as they recognised their favourite characters and favourite books on the 25th Anniversary of the occasion.

The donation was made by the business to support the school as they embark upon a refurbishment of the school library later this year.

Matt Bower commented; “It was great to see the children joining in so enthusiastically and to be able to support a primary school that is in the same community as our head office. World Book Day shows how important books are to us, and we hope that the children will continue to discover the enjoyment that a good book can bring.”

Heather O’Connor, Academy Principal, Maltby Redwood Academy commented; “Our thanks go to the team at Carlton Forest for their kind donation in a year when our library will undergo a complete refurbishment. The donation will help towards providing some new books for the children to enjoy and help us to continue the delivery of an engaging reading programme in school.”
