Tickhill Juniors Football Club, a hugely popular grass roots community football club has received new changing facilities after a generous donation from a local company.

Carlton Forest Group donated a fully refurbished shipping container to Tickhill Juniors to replace an aged changing facility that had seen better days.

Diane Ward commented; “We are delighted to continue our 2023 support and are very pleased that the container will bring a new, much-needed changing facility for the players.
“My thanks to the Carlton Forest team, James, John and Lucy, who co-ordinated the project and were able to navigate the container perfectly into situ at the club.”

During the 2022/23 season, Carlton Forest Group has been proud to sponsor the U11’s team with kit, water bottles and boot bags, donate the container, and to be headline sponsors for its annual football tournament which draws in teams from across the North of England and is where the presentation of the inaugural Carlton Forest Cup for Player of the Tournament will take place.

Andrew Taylor, Club Chairman commented; “We are very appreciative of the support that Carlton Forest Group has afforded us over this season and are thrilled with the container which will allow our teams and visitors somewhere to store their belongings, especially during inclement weather.
“Preparations are now well underway for the tournament, and we look forward to welcoming the team from Carlton Forest Group to present their trophy and be part of our celebrations.”

The tournament takes place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June at the club’s ground in Tickhill. Spectators are most welcome at Brookfield Park, Tickhill, Doncaster DN11 9RE.

Over 800 people are expected to attend with matches and competitions taking place from age U8 to U18.
